Step 1 — Compute rates
The Epidemiology analysis reports case counts, attack rate, incidence per person-time, hospitalization, and case-fatality. When no denominator is supplied, results are reported as counts only — never an implied population rate.
Step 2 — Curve and stratification
Review the epidemic curve by index date and stratify by a participant or episode attribute (sex, site, setting) to compare patterns across groups.
